Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors in Accounting is required, masters in accounting preferred
  • CPA required
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in technical accounting research
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) background a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, including extended hours during peak periods
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills a must
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with lookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Management experience in training, coaching and counseling accounting staff
  • Financial statement reporting experience
  • Sales and use tax compliance a plus
  • Sox internal control compliance a plus
  • Tax provision accounting a plus


  • Oversee and ensure that the monthly and quarterly accounting closes are accurate and are in compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS, and prepare timely financial statements and other reports
  • Coordinate and oversee the audit (Big Four) of annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Communicate financial results to Senior Management
  • Supervises or prepares account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Perform technical accounting research and document accounting conclusions
  • Keep abreast of current accounting matters
  • Perform variance, analytical and other analysis
  • Develop and manage a strong team of accounting professionals
  • Ensure compliance with sales & use tax regulations and other federal, state and local regulations
