Position Summary

The primary objective of this position is, under the direction of the Manager of Pricing & Sales Support, to support the sales organization in optimizing pricing decisions and other strategic sales support functions. Development of complex financial models to analyze the profitability of customer relationships, equipment rental transactions and other business transactions is required. This position will be responsible for reviewing price performance across various levels and dimensions of business segments and making recommendations for improvement. Responsibilities will also include other types of analysis and recommendations on other aspects of sales management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor our competitive position and customer and equipment profitability and make appropriate pricing recommendations as a result
  • Develop pricing tools for use by the sales team
  • Develop and maintain complex business models for evaluating the profitability of customer relationships, equipment rental transactions and other business transactions
  • Maintain the company's pricing database and support the rate-setting process
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for profitability related to customers, products, and business transactions
  • Support in development of other financial analysis as directed
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Required Skills & Experience  

  • SQL proficiency
  • Excellent general business acumen
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex business issues
  • MS Excel expert
  • Ability to construct complex financial models
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelors in Economics, Finance or Math a plus
